Welcome to the Archive

This is the place for Multimedia Darkwave Music experiences since 1998. Here you will find short promotional biographies of Gothic, Industrial, Electronica, EDM, IDM, Noise, Techno, Dark Pop, Electro Punk and Black Metal artists in animated examples of cinematic literature which I call Darkwave BioAnime.
I wanted to promote bands the way I wish my own project Bytet could be promoted (in sight and sound). My Webzine has been in existence since 1998. It started as a monthly musical slide show using Real technology but in 2000 I switched to Flash. The loop refers to the 20-30 second music sample from the featured artist, which is looped for a background soundtrack. For the first two years my Flash features were formatted for a desktop PC. In 2002, starting with issue #48, I switched to a hand held sized format. For trouble shooting I first used a Casio BE-300 and later a Windows Pocket PC from Sprint, both of which had Flash Players. Early smart phones also had Flash players, so LoopZine.TV fit right into Mobil. Modern tablets and smart phones no longer support Flash so in 2015 I converted well over 200 projects to HTML5 code only to find two years later the best solution was to convert everything to Mpeg4 YouTube movies. These are my historical archives, enjoy.
