Starting in 2000 I began creating short multimedia promotional biographies of Gothic, Industrial, Electronica, EDM, IDM, Noise, Techno, Dark Pop, Electro Punk and Black Metal artists in Macromedia's Director/Shock Wave Format(SWF) and Flash. In 2015 I converted over 200 animations from Flash to HTML5 code and in 2017 I again converted the features to Mpeg4 YouTube Movies. These are my historical archives...
Spring 2006
It's getting harder and harder to justify doing a monthly newsletter. While issue 100 turned out normal (with weekly features), issues 98 and 99 only saw a CD submission every other week. Still that's better than some months last year when I was lucky to see a single monthly submission. Wow what a landmark, 100 monthly issues since I started my newsletter in 1998. Back then I sent an email with links to musical slide shows made using Real technology. Once Macromedia released Flash I dropped Real like a hot potatoe.
So, I have two labels, WTII records and Art Of Fact, to thank for these submissions. I especially owe Art Of Fact a debt as in the past they welcomed my own music (Bytet) to participate in several pay-to-play compilations. Anyway, take a look at these international bands! Sweden, New Zealand, Japan, Germany, Canada and Texas. Oh how could I forget MOTOR!!!! Enjoy.
(Flash forward 8 years) maybe it was my divorce after 30 years, raising four wonderful kids to young adults and a drop off in submissions each month, but this group represents the end of monthly issue of Pocket Loop. My therapists suggested I take charge of my life and set some goals, and going back to college for a second degree in Journalism feels right.

Loop to sample from 20 to 40 seconds of your music for this production. Loop prefers to receive this product along with your press kit. E-mailed Electronic Press kits will not be accepted.
